Enabling Direct Deposit for Reimbursements

Before requesting reimbursements, it is highly recommended that you opt in for Direct Deposit in GrantEd. This allows your reimbursement to be deposited directly into your bank account. Otherwise, you will need to pick up a check from the ASSU office.
To opt-in for direct deposit:
- Set up direct deposit on Axess. Log in to Axess, and select Direct Deposit from the Student menu at the top of the page.
- To link a single bank account:
- Enter bank Routing Number
- Enter bank Account Number
- Do not include dashes, spaces or other special characters when entering your account number.
- Re-enter your bank Account Number for validation
- For Account Type, select Checking or Savings
- For Deposit Type, select Balance of Net Pay
- For Amount or Percent, leave it blank
- For Deposit Order, enter 999 (default)
- Select Submit
- Make sure your mailing address is also up to date.

- To link a single bank account:
- Opt-in for reimbursement on GrantEd by logging on to https://granted.stanford.edu, selecting your SUNet ID at the top right, and clicking “Opt-In for Reimbursement.” This allows us to access the information you’ve given Stanford, which lets ASSU use direct deposit as opposed to having to pick up checks from the ASSU office.
