From [[SSI-28]], we learned that the sensor value fluctuates with the orientation of the payload, so a second flight was conducted on [SSI-30]] with the UV A and UV B sensors, combined with a 10DOF acceleration and orientation sensor. Trough this sensor fusion, the high points of the microWats/cm^2 crest can be correlated the direct illumination of the sun, giving us a more accurate UV value than a simple average, and we will also gain a good understanding of the levels of ambient UV scattering at specific altitudes. This flight also served to validate the data from the previous launch, so that we can account for the effect of atmospheric differences.
