It tests different pad sizes and is controlled by a set of relays hooked up to an Arduino via the headers. The ripperoni uses a 300V power supply to charge the pads, and is our first step towards developing a microfluidics platform for DNA synthesis in space!

The Ripperoni board is the first electrowetting PCB officially made by SSI Biology's device team. It tests different pad sizes and is controlled by a set of relays hooked up to an Arduino via the headers. The ripperoni uses a 300V power supply to charge the pads, and is our first step towards developing a microfluidics platform for DNA synthesis in space!
