The system is currently configured with 8Gb of RAM, 4x 2TB WD Red Hard drives (from a donor on Reddit!), and a single 240Gb SATA SSD. As our needs increase, we plan to upgrade the system with NVMe Storage, More RAM, and GPUs for Ansys acceleration.

Sasha runs proxmox, a Linux Hypervisor distribution. This means it's designed to run many VMs (virtual operating systems) within the main system. This approach is known as Hyper-Converged-Infrastructure or HCI. The benefit is flexibility, because new "servers" can be created and setup with a single button click.
